About Us
Kobe Apiaries is a small family-owned business in Grand Rapids, MI that started as a hobby, but our love for honey bees inspired us to turn it into a full-fledged business! We currently maintain apiaries in Grand Rapids, Ada, Kentwood, and Howell. Our offerings include local raw unfiltered honey, beeswax, candles, all-natural lip balms, queen bees, nucleus colonies (nucs), and even honey bee swarm removal.
Matt, with his background in biology and teaching, enjoys learning about honey bees and sharing his insights with anyone interested in this fascinating subject.
Megan is dedicated to environmental causes, and she believes that supporting honey bees is a vital part of making our world a better place.
Uma simply enjoys being part of the pack—or should I say, the hive.
